Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed young star Paul Pogba will not be going out on loan and will be staying with us this season.
Ferguson said on the official Man Utd website
"It's more difficult to loan a boy of 18 who's come from France," explained the manager.
"We prefer to keep him with us until we find he's mature enough to possibly go on loan. Maybe next year that could be an option but we're definitely expecting him this season to stay with Manchester United."
The midfielder could be thrown in against Leeds in the Carling Cup tomorrow for his first team debut.
Sir Alex regarding Pogba:
"He's got a slight injury. It's not too bad, though. So he wasn't available for Sunday but he should be able to play on Tuesday and I intend to play him against Leeds United."
Lets hope Sir Alex sticks to his word and we do see Pogba make his debut tomorrow. He has a lot of promise, he is spoken about very highly and could be a big star for us.
